Andrea Esparza Belmonte holds a degree in Pedagogy from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, where she developed her thesis titled “Distribution of the Sensible and Emancipated Spectator: Cinema as an Education of Perception. An Analysis of Jacques Rancière.”

My work focuses on the relationship between cinema and education, and she has participated in discussions on cinema both within and outside UNAM. She has been an active member of Ollin Detlani since 2024. Her academic background is complemented by a deep passion for cinema that drives her personal and professional projects. Andrea continues to participate in spaces for research and reflection on education, pedagogy, and cinema.
